The latest information on nutrition tells us that cocoa is good for us! Full of antioxidants and phytochemicals it provides a boost to the immune system. The Kuna Indians live 20% longer than Westerners and it is their high consumption of cocoa that researchers point to as the key. Unprocessed cocoa powder without fats or fillers will provide a great basis for this yummy, warm drink, or simply stir some into your tea. Leave out the dairy as dairy interferes with the absorption of good nutrition. Add rice, oat, almond or soy milk to your warm drinks instead.
2 1/2 cups rice milk
2 Tbsp agave or sugar
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1/8 tsp ancho chili powder, optional
Directions: Briskly whisk or blend the ingredients.
Warm to just below boiling point being cautious
